I’ve read about typing in codes for letters. I’m wondering is there a way to to get the visual display like how Mac does. Or if the code entering is the best way to do it?
I use the compose key to input special characters. I have it bound to Super-R. Pressing <compose>o" would input ö. <compose>c= inputs €. <compose>n~ inputs ñ. Once you are used to typing accented characters this way it becomes pretty fast.
